Mr. William Ed Roberson, 90, of Toccoa, GA passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017, at Reliable Health and Rehab in Atlanta, GA.

Mr. Roberson was born in Homer, GA on August 16, 1926, son of the late Thomas Lee Roberson and the late Eurith Umbehant Roberson. He was a poultry farmer; Army Veteran having served during WWII; and was a member and former deacon of Old Canon Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Whitfield Ayers Roberson; step daughter, Nancy Addison of Clayton, GA; step grandchildren, Drew, Trip and Lindsay Addison; step great grandchildren, Caroline and Elizabeth Addison; brothers, David Roberson of Thomaston, GA, Clinton Roberson of Big Springs, TX and Winston Roberson of Lavonia, GA; sisters, Marcel Brady and Roselle Dove, both of Lavonia, GA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Willie Jo (Billy) Hicks Roberson; brothers, Crawford Roberson, Swain Roberson, Leland Roberson and Doug Roberson; one sister, Ruby Caudell.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 3:30 p.m., in the Old Canon Baptist Church Cemetery on Sunday, June 25, 2017 with Rev. Tony Byrd officiating.

The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, GA from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. on Sunday afternoon. The family is at their respective homes.
