Mrs. Shirley Jean Addison Leverette, age 79, of Toccoa, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017.

Born October 28, 1937 in Martin, GA, she was a daughter of the late Paul Eugene and Bonnie Faye Adams Addison.

She was a member of Toms Creek Baptist Church and was retired after 41 years from Coats and Clark. Mrs. Leverette enjoyed growing flowers and loved her family and grandchildren.

Family members include her sons and a daughter-in-law, Jeff and Sherry Leverette of Toccoa and Jimmy and Sheri Leverette of Panama City, FL; grandchildren, Tiffany Leverette Cothran, Daniel Leverette and Lauren, Brandon Leverette and Kayla, Haley Leverette Sellers and Ian, Jamie Chastain McIntyre and John, and Caitlin Chastain McKenzie and Zach; great-grandchildren, Sierra Cothran, Evan Leverette, Gracie Cothran, Gavin Wilt, Trenum Wilt, Elise McKenzie, Declan McKenzie, Emma Leverette, and Rylee McIntyre; brother and sister-in-law, Alton and Sonja Addison; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Evans Leverette; and her son, Daniel Evans Leverette.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Friday, October 13, 2017 at Toms Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Marcus officiating.

Burial will follow at Toms Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jerrell Beatty officiating at the graveside service.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Daniel Leverette, Brandon Leverette, Eric Addison, Tyler Addison, Ian Sellers, and Harold Thomas.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6pm – 8pm Thursday.

Memorial donations may be made to Toms Creek Baptist Church. Flowers are accepted.

Whitlock Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
