Mrs. Sara Lowe Kendrick

Mrs. Sara Lowe Kendrick, age, 93, of Eastanollee, GA, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Stephens County Hospital.

Born November 26, 1925 in Good Hope, GA, she was the daughter of the late John R. and Mary Artelia Almand Lowe.

She was a member of the Toccoa Pentecostal Holiness church and later attended Rock Quarry Congregational Holiness Church. Sara was a homemaker and a Pastor's Wife. She enjoyed a ministry of sending cards through the mail to her friends and family. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Family members include her daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and Robert Kelley of Jonesboro and Saralyn and Larry Carter of Toccoa; grandchildren, Shanda and Lynn Lowry, Bryan Kelley, Colleen Kelley, and Staci and Jason Hood; great-grandchildren, Alex and Ashli Lowry, Mayah Lowry, Piper Hood and Hawkins Hood; great-great-grandchild, Journi Lowry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Fred William Kendrick; and her sister, Mary John Armistead.

Mrs. Kendrick adopted as her family, Tony and Emily Banks, Mandy Banks, Joy Robinson, Garvin Robinson, and special friend and neighbor, Carolyn Wilson.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Rock Quarry Congregational Holiness Church with the Rev. Clarence Reynolds and the Rev. Edward Hood officiating.

The body will be placed in the church at one o'clock Tuesday to lie-in-state until the funeral hour.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Alex Lowry, Lynn Lowry, Tony Banks, Billy Simpson, Gerry Simpson and Don Baldwin.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6pm – 8pm Monday, May 13, 2019.
