Mrs. Mable Adams Addison

Mrs. Mable Adams Addison, age 100, of Eastanollee, GA passed away Friday, May 3, 2019.

Mrs. Addison was born in Stephens County and lived all of her life in Stephens and Franklin County. She was a daughter of the late Wess Adams and Lula Byrd Adams. She and her late husband of 71 years, Wintferd Addison, owned and operated Addison Cabinet Shop.

Mrs. Addison was the oldest member of Tom's Creek Baptist Church. As long as her health permitted, she was actively involved in a variety of church activities.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter and three sisters; Mrs. Sue Watkins, Mrs. Dorothy McConnell, and Mrs. Jessie Lee Payne.

Family members include a daughter and son-in-law, Geraldine and Fred Carey; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and a brother, William Adams of Colbert, GA; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at three o'clock Monday, May 6, 2019 at the Toms Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Marcus, the Rev. Tom Waggoner, and Mr. Ben Glaze officiating.

Burial will follow at Tom's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Lamar Adams, Steve Addison, George Allen Herron, Jeff Leverette, Demond Parks, and James Payne.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 2pm – 5pm Sunday, May 5, 2019 and from 1pm – 2pm on Monday prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to the Tom's Creek Baptist Church Food Ministry.
