Mr. Joe Telford Duvall

Mr. Joe Telford "Ted" Duvall, age 77, of Atlanta, formerly of Eastanollee, GA, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Piedmont Hospital.

Born May 4, 1940 in Eastanollee, GA, he was a son of the late Joe and Lois Burnette Duvall.

He was self-employed and loved working with his camellias, blueberries and watching Georgia Football.

Family members include his wife, Wilma Long Duvall of Atlanta; daughter, Sharon Delphos of Norfolk, VA; son, Alex Duvall of Atlanta; granddaughter, Amelia Delphos; sister, Judy Evans of Chamblee, GA; brothers and a sister-in-law, James Duvall of Eastanollee, GA, and Dan Duvall and Gail of Cleveland, GA; nephews, Gary Duvall, Jason Duvall, and Adam Duvall.

Funeral services will be held at three o'clock Sunday, January 28, 2018 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Thomas Blackwell and the Rev. Roger Stephens officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Michael Burnette, Ricky Burnette, Jerry Davis, Stevie Davis, Gary Duvall, and Martin Hall.

Members of the 1957-1958 Stephens County High School Football Team will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Whitlock Mortuary from 1pm until the service on Sunday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Jerry Snell, 575 Rosedale Street, Toccoa, GA 30577 or to the Currahee Military Museum, 160 Alexander Street, Toccoa, GA 30577.
