Mrs. Bonnie Sue Altman Ellard, age 74, of Toccoa, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center of Gainesville.

Born August 6, 1944 in Toccoa, she was the daughter of the late Flavel Knox and Daisy Warwick Highfill Altman.

She was a member of Confidence United Methodist Church. Bonnie was retired from Belk with many years as an Estee Louder Beauty Consultant. She loved reading, genealogy, animals, and Rock n Roll. Bonnie was very devoted to her family.

Family members include her husband, Edward Ellard; daughter, Windy Charles; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Charles and Michele; grandchildren; Susannah Terrell, Lydia Terrell, and Delia Charles; daughters and a son-in-law, Tlicia Ellard Jordan and Harold and Jana Ellard Bray; son, Brandon Ellard; grandchildren, Dalton Duke, Jada Duke, and Rhett Ellard; sisters, Christine Lee, Linda Taylor, and Lily Mullinax; brothers, John Altman, Jim Altman, and Knox Altman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Ashton Bray.

Memorial services will held at two o'clock Friday, December 21, 2018 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. James Turpen officiating.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6pm – 8pm Thursday, December 20, 2018.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make donations may be made to The Toccoa Stephens Humane Shelter, P. O. Box 2182 Toccoa, GA 30577.
